LSU linebacker Harold Perkins was named the Chuck Bednarik Award Player of the Week after leading the Tigers defense on the road past Arkansas 13-10. In a very defensive game between the Tigers and the Razorbacks, the 6-2, 220-pound linebacker scattered six solo tackles, two assisted tackles, along with four sacks, two forced fumbles, and a quarterback hurry on a cold day in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Perkins and the Tigers move up to #6 in the AP Top 25 Poll, while remaining at #7 in the CFP poll for Week 12. Perkins and the Tigers will host to UAB this Saturday in Baton Rouge.

Playmaking ability like TM7. Let’s just hope his career at LSU ends better than TM7 did

We love a playmaker but he benefits from 10 other guys who are talented and playing hard. This is well earned because he did not disappoint when asked to make the plays. His work at spy was the best I ever witnessed.
