Former LSU defensive end Danielle Hunter is signing with the Houston Texans on a two-year, $49 million deal with $48 million guaranteed, according to multiple sources.

Hunter, a native of Katy, Texas, was a two-year starter at LSU from 2012 to 2014. The Minnesota Vikings drafted Hunter in the 3rd round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

The four-time pro bowler just wrapped up his 9th season with the Vikings.

Well earned. Loved how they couldn't guarantee that last million.

Dude is going into his 10th season and isn’t even 30 yo. Only 2 year deal also. If he can stay healthy and productive then he can sign a few more of those deals.

Good, glad the Texans have another guy to pull for here in Texas. Right now it’s nice to have a second team while the Saints are stagnant.
