ESPN's Top SEC Defensive Lines For 2014: LSU No. 7

Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY Sports
Chris Low with ESPN.com has LSU as the 7th best defensive line unit in the SEC for 2014. Here is his breakdown for the entire conference.

1. Alabama
2. Auburn
3. Missouri
4. Ole Miss
5. Florida
6. Mississippi State
7. LSU
8. South Carolina
9. Georgia
10. Kentucky
11. Vanderbilt
12. Arkansas
13. Texas A&M
14. Tennessee

7. LSU: The Tigers are set at end with senior Jermauria Rasco and junior Danielle Hunter, although Rasco missed the spring after undergoing shoulder surgery. Sophomore Tashawn Bower should also prosper as a pass rusher in John Chavis’ system. The big question is at tackle, where redshirt freshmen Frank Herron, Greg Gilmore and Maquedius Bain will be counted on to step in and fill the void. Sophomore Christian LaCouture also returns at tackle and had a solid spring. LSU has recruited well up front defensively, and similar to previous years, new playmakers will emerge for the Tigers.

Completely ignored Quentin Thomas. I hope they keep sleeping on my boy, he's gonna eat this year.

No mention of Quenton Thomas, our most consistent tackle from a year ago and a certain starter at DT this year. Good article, would read again.
