LSU head coach Ed Orgeron said Monday that quarterback Danny Etling is getting very close to full strength after recovering from back surgery which took place just two days after LSU’s spring game April 24.

Running back Derrius Guice and wide receiver D.J. Chark both said Monday that they have noticed a positive improvement in Etling's play since the surgery.

I like how the picture attached to that tweet is just a close up of O's neck and double chin. Really adds depth to the subject at hand.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But understand, if you have never had a back injury that requires surgery, your opinion would change. I have, and it's excruciating. And this guy played almost a full season of SEC football injured? Trust me. That tells me all I need to know about Etlings toughness and heart! That's a leader, folks! Wait and see!

He warmed the bench at Purdue for a reason, and ran scared against Bama. I just don't think he's the leader of a championship team. I wanted to see Scott rise to the top, but I guess that hasn't panned out. Maybe one of the freshmen can eventually be "the guy."

Watching him play filled you with confidence? Really? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! And speaking well doesn't make you a good QB. Didn't work for Harris. Got any other stupid shite you want to say?
