Teddy Mitrosilis with FOX Sports put together this article on Jan. 13th about Jeremy Hill's replacement, Leonard Fournette, a five-star running back recruit and the nations top recruit at his position in the class of 2014.
quote:

Fournette committed to the Tigers at the Under Armour All-American game, choosing Les Miles’ offer over those from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Florida, Michigan, USC and a list of others.

He’s listed at 6-foot-1 and 226 pounds – which, going by public measurements, would make him the same height as Adrian Peterson and nine pounds heavier – and has nimble feet for a man his size. You wouldn’t call his speed “elite,” necessarily, but it’s enough to out-run many defensive backs at the college level.

John Curtis High coach J.T. Curtis had this to say about Fournette in this Bleacherreport.com article from Jan. 16th:
quote:

"Usually, big, fast and quick don’t go together. Usually it’s little and quick, or big and strong and fast. But he’s able to combine all the things together, and he can catch the ball. I think he’s probably as complete a back as I’ve ever played against, and through the years we’ve played against some awfully good ones. He’s probably as good as I’ve ever played."
