"I want to thank the University of Tennessee, the people there and the fans for the opportunity and support during this recruiting process, which can be stressful but I also know is a blessing. I have decided to go in a different direction with my recruitment and will take the next 2 months to figure it out," Dylan Jackson told VolQuest.com assistant editor John Brice.
Jackson, a 6'6", 245-pounds prospect from Maryville, TN (Maryville) holds offers from Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, and Stanford as well as others.

I would love to have this kid in Baton Rouge, but if I am his father, I am telling him to go to Stanford. Great football players will find their way to the NFL, but a Stanford education is priceless.
