Etienne, a 5-11, 210-pound prospect from Jennings High School, is rated the No. 13 running back in the country and the No. 5 overall player from the state of Louisiana, according to ESPN.

He was set to take an official visit to LSU this weekend but those plans might have changed now with his commitment to Clemson.

With "character" like that, I'm glad he chose Climpson. Nothing like burning bridges for no good reason.

Clemson is, in actuality, the first Death Valley. LSU was originally nicknamed Deaf Valley. I wish we'd embrace tradition and go back to that...and make it true every home game. Geaux Tigers!

Really. With Guice, Brossette and Williams, he wouldn't have seen the field anyway.

This guy was a fence walker from day 1. Some kids just want to leave their home state and go somewhere else. That's fine. But to say Clemson is the real Death Valley is ridiculous! I know they are Champions now and that's great for them. But when football analysts and former players and coaches talk about the toughest venue to play a road game, especially at night, they ain't talking about South Carolina! Baton Rouge is Death Valley!

Can you blame the kid, he played second fiddle on the entire recruiting trail, plus Clemson and just won a national title, we will make due
