The Advocate is reporting that LSU Baseball head coach Paul Mainieri is set to receive a two-year contract extension. He will not receive a raise.

The proposed contract changes, listed in the LSU Board of Supervisors agenda released Friday, are expected to be approved by the board at its meeting next Friday.

Mainieri, who led LSU to the College World Series in his ninth season as coach last year, will have his contract extended through the 2020 season. He will not receive a raise. Mainieri makes a base salary of $750,000.
