After Tulane's 36-33, triple OT victory over East Carolina on Saturday head coach Curtis Johnson was so proud of his Green Wave he gave his team the week off...
quote:

“I told them that if you won the game, they would get the week off, and all of a sudden, we won,” Johnson told reporters. “I’ve got to stick to my word. I’m a man of my word. So they get a week off. I told them that anything goes, if they miss one class or are late, I’m just going to call them all in and roll them.”
It should be noted that they do have a bye week before its October 26th home game against Tulsa. Tulane is 5-2 on the season.

Hahaha

He's not joking either. Tulane has had multiple starters suspended this year for missing class.

Tulane coach is doing great. Nice to see them winning again.

A big reason for this is that they are taking midterms right now.
