USC's Lane Kiffin has announced that visiting teams will not be allowed to hold walk-throughs at the Coliseum. Why? To preserve the field.
quote:

“We put a lot of resources into that field and what I’m hoping is that our fans are going to see the best that field has ever looked,” Kiffin said. “The problem with walk-throughs … you tear it up because people put cleats on and go on there.”
He went on to say...
quote:

“It shouldn’t be a big deal,” Kiffin said. “We don’t go to other people’s stadiums.”
Whenever Kiffin talks I think of the end of the movie "The Social Network" when the woman tells Mark Zuckerberg...
quote:

"You're not an as*hole, Mark. You're just trying so hard to be."
