The former SMU star and ESPN analyst was hired by FOX Sports Southwest just days ago and now has been let go after just one appearance, according to Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch. Apparently, the higher ups at Fox Sports were not consulted on the original decision to hire James and reversed the move to hire the most disliked college football analyst in America.
