I'm calling cheap-shot on Ibragim Khalilov against Bakhtiyar Barotov in China at WBK 22 on Saturday. Check out his knockout off of the glove touch...

Hate the glove touching before MMA fights nowadays, go back to how it was in the early UFC/Pride days where they just casually walked out to the middle of the ring not even thinking about touching gloves.

He must use Rousey's trainer.

Gloves are meant to touch the face.

Also that is a chicken shite fight organization. It may not be quite kosher what he did but he didn't break ANY code. He was there to fight.

As said below - that jackass will have trouble getting another fight. His career should effectively be over.

Honestly the dip shite half assed the glove touch if that's what he was doing. Looks like he planned on a glove touch and the other guy shot out of his corner and ole boy was contemplating if he still want to attempt glove touch but ole boy was already up on him. Glove touch is a gentlemans move... they are not it the gentleman business, especially in whatever the hell WBK 22 China edition is.

3 idiots below me. That's a dirty move. Gutless. Cowardly. There's a code and respect between fighters in that cage and he severely broke that. He'll have a hard time getting another fight.

No he won't have a hard time. That was a silly attempt at a glove touch. The only code in the ring or the octagon is to protect yourself at all times. The time to touch gloves is before the round starts with the ref in the center of the ring. Nothing else is part of any code. You don't know what you are talking about. It's a fight.

"Nothing else is part of any code." The hundreds of instances of fighters touching gloves at the start of the fight speaks contrary to that. It's undeniable, touching gloves in that fashion is a sign of good sportsmanship. You don't have to do it, obviously, but when you extend your fist out at the start of a round every person with an IQ above 60 recognizes what's going on. I'm sorry you don't.

That line doesn't make your opponent immune to being a complete dick though - which I think is the criticism Ibragim Khalilov.

No such thing as a fair fight.

Nothing wrong with that. Not sure what that guy was doing but that's not how you touch gloves. One fist straight out. Not both hands open and extended out like u want to play patty cake. Bet he won't do that again.

Jesus you're a moron

Yep, screw sportsmanship. Get them wins however you can! /sarcasm

ExpoTiger is correct. The other fighter was leaving himself completely exposed and probably learned a valuable lesson. Former fighters will understand.

what is wrong with that?

You're asking what's wrong with a cheap shot? Words probably aren't enough for you to understand, you'll probably have to be punched by someone when you don't expect it to figure it out.
