Nick Saban Reacts To The Tragic Henry Ruggs Accident
© Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
During his Wednesday presser, Nick Saban addressed the tragic accident involving his former player, Raiders star Henry Ruggs, that resulted in the death of a woman in Las Vegas...
quote:

“Our thoughts and prayers certainly go out to all involved in this tragic situation, especially the victims. Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with them. But our thoughts and prayers are certainly with Henry, his family,” the Crimson Tide head coach said.

“This is something a lot of folks can learn from. A lot of players on our team. When we say challenge people to make good choices and decisions, do the right thing. Because sometimes the consequences can be devastating,” he went on to add. “And these consequences are probably going to be pretty devastating to Henry. We love him. We’re going to support him through it. But we also have a lot of compassion for the victims and our thoughts and prayers are also with them.”

Tragic accident? This was a criminal act, frick Ruggs. I have zero fricking compassion for a spoiled millionaire that chooses to drink and drive and kill an innocent person. The sheer moxie to call this a tragic accident…you should be ashamed Larry

very few car crashes are actually an accident. Most involve negligence in some form...excessive speed, improper lane change, failure to signal, not checking blind spots, running red lights, and yep...drunk driving. Calling every wreck an "accident" started with auto companies using PR to push for the term to be used in papers/reports forever ago. They wanted to try and shift blame off drivers, so the mayhem they were causing could be overlooked, ultimately so they/automakers could sell more cars. Anyway...long story but interesting history.

I like the man, but I have a very hard time picturing Saban praying.

why, because he's a hard-nosed no-nonsense guy on the football field? You can't pray if you're a tough guy?

No, because he seems to have no soul, and always wants to control everything. Praying is giving up control completely.

So in short you don't know what praying to God actual means and you don't realize Christianity is meant for sinners to turn have that relationship with God through Christ.
