Had the fan caught the ball no interference would have been called.

Honestly, who designs a field that has any possibility of fan interferance? Such a thing should not be possible unless the fan jumps the fence and gets on the field of play.

I would guess that every single high level college and pro baseball stadium there are seats right up against the wall where a fan could lean over into play and touch a ball. The outfield bleachers at LSU are actually further away from the wall than most places

Fan didn’t interfere with the ball or the player. How is that fan interference? BS call period! The ball still landed where it would have had the kid not reached for the ball. Just because someone reaches for a ball doesn’t mean it’s interfering. The fan either needs to impede the catch in some fashion. That’s clearly doesn’t happen here. Someone’s blind as hell.

horseshite call if you are an LSU fan. Great call 4-0 in reviews if Aggie.

What allowed the umps to go on a fishing expedition. The call was originally to look at whether it was a homerun or not. There was not ever a signal from the Aggie coaches regarding fan interference.

CJJ worded the comments very well.
The fan is a dumbass pure and simple. How many times have we seen this same scenario at all levels of play and no one lears from history.
SEC Birmingham are dumbasses.
Two dumbasses never make a right. Between the two we could have lost the game over a souvenir.

I mean, technically that fan never touched the ball or the Aggie LF’s glove, so it was never an interference to begin with. What CJJ is saying is: our fan did nothing wrong, frick Birmingham for trying to screw ha, we coming!
