LESBIAN….

Every speeding ticket I had in LA, I showed up on my court date, talked to the prosecutor (or they just grouped everyone up), and it magically became a non-moving violation.

Hopefully, it won't take a trip to court to get it changed to non-moving. It's pretty clear they just want their money. I'm calling tomorrow and will update everyone on the damage. I'm still waiting to hear back from one person I reached out to about getting it knocked down/taken care of, but my hopes are not high. We'll see...
Not homemade, but in a pinch, Sam’s chicken salad is pretty good. It’s a little mayo heavy and the chicken is chunky, but it’s got celery in it. I add a little pickle, mustard and celery seed and it works when I don’t want to make it
I’ve been staying at a Holiday Inn Express a lot lately, and their coffee machines use Costa coffee beans that are ground and made by the cup- it’s pretty good coffee with a heathy dose of half & half and a Splenda packet.

72 in a 55 is all on you, dude... You got to obey that 5 mph over rule. 17 over is pretty bad.

The road went back to two lanes, and I’m 90% sure that the cones were gone- I assumed incorrectly that that meant the construction was over and the speed limit was back to 65. I was definitely doing between 55-60 when it was down to 1 lane

There’s two black cops that are always tucked in the median after the overpass where it goes from 70 to 60

Definitely met one of them yesterday

Call the number on the ticket and pay to keep it off your record. That's how Jeanerette rolls.

That’s the plan- I tried a couple of people that might have had connections, but surprise surprise, it seems that small town Louisiana is a tough egg to crack.

Last ticket I got was on 190 outside of Krotz on the way home from the beach in 2021. 77 in a 55…also construction (of course). I sense a pattern  I’ll never forget- when I called to ask about getting it changed to non-moving, the woman said ‘just put a note on the money order’

Jeanerette Speeding Ticket- Hwy 90

Got popped at the end of the Construction Zone yesterday. Road was back to 2 lanes, no cones present, cop was posted up at the ‘End Construction’ sign. 72 in a 55. :banghead:

Any idea what I’m looking at for the fine? I fully expect $350.
Shredded Chicken
Cream cheese
Egg
Dill pickle
Little Brown Mustard
Salt
Pepper
Touch of Mayo if the cream cheese is too thick

Celery optional

Not just lettuce, but bagged iceberg lettuce. Sometimes, the best salads start with bagged iceberg lettuce- not a fresh head, straight from the bag.

Four Seasons Season 2

Dropped on Netflix this week. We watched the first two episodes tonight and it was as good as Season 1. A few hilarious lines, a little drama and overall a good, easy watch.
Went last month for daughter’s birthday. Cheese sticks, 2 chicken Alfredos, shrimp tacos and a burger. 3 fountain drinks and a water and it was $120 after tax and tip.

Our dinner at Hard Rock Vegas (also kids choice) was the same price and it included 2 cocktails. I expected that price in Vegas, not at Walk-Ons.

I’ll go if someone wants to go, but I doubt I’ll ever suggest it again.

Don’t forget BJ the scary clown!

I gotta know how this is going to end.

Jeff Pearlman

His book on Tupac was one of the most well researched biographies I’ve ever read. The lengths he went to get some of the stories he got was pretty impressive. Deep deep dives.

Based on his character in the show and his interviews, I was more than a little surprised to see she was a woman.

Same - just like Eric Stonestreet after watching 11 seasons of Modern Family. It cracks me up when I see him on sports shows talking about his extreme Chiefs Fandom and his wife and kids.

this show kind of lost me in the last two eps.

it started off great but now not so sure.

This show is very bipolar to me, too. Eps 1-4 were GREAT TV. Since then, it's been alternating between great and 'WTF did I just watch?' It's definitely very Severance-like in that aspect. I'm hanging with it because I have to know how it pans out.

FWIW- I gave up on Severance mid way through Season 2. I got so lost on what exactly was going on, I quit watching.

Bump- $168.94 & $43.92… pretty disappointing, but I’ll take it
Wonder if this is going to entice farmers that previously turned their soybean fields into solar farms to go back to soybeans

I know it's not really that easy to get out of a solar lease, but those fields seem to have just gotten a lot more valuable.
