each female mosquito can produce 1000-3000 eggs during their lifecycle.so if you keep destroying the eggs with the bacteria from the dunks you can really cut down on the population long term.

the yutes are at it again
I put 3 on the back of my property about 3 weeks ago and noticed a big change. I also dropped a bunch in the ditch behind my house that was holding water with this rain. I bought a 1/4 round stick at lowed and shoved into the middle of the ditch and dropped the dunk on the stick.
I also added some grass and stuff into the buckets, I read that the breakdown of the organic material attracts mosquitos. I also added a solar powered blue light onto the top of the lid. I read that mosquitos are attracted to it.
also the way I set mine up is I screwed a few small pieces of 3/4 pvc to give about a 3-4 inch space between the bucket and the lid. you dont want to have water pouring in during a rain from holes on the lid. You only want to add water as necessary, not having the water overflow out. You may want to look into that.

if you have air in your pump you have a suction side air leak. so somewhere between the pump housing and your skimmer and floor drain(if you have one).
1st step, if you have any unions take them apart and grease the o-ring with pool grade o-ring lubricant. also grease the o-ring for your pump lid. also any plugs on the bottom of the housing grease those and make sure they are tight. remember that this leak has to be on the suction side so from pump housing back to the pool. not downstream of the pump thru the filter and to the pool return jets. if you have valves on the suction side of the pump those can leak also. If you search on trouble free pool forum you can get some more tips on how to troubleshoot. They would also be glad to help if you post over there and take some pictures.They have some methods using shaving cream etc that can help find the leak.
I am assuming its the normal style of pool timer that has the small screw that you slide around the dial to set the time. sometimes those arent positioned correctly and it doesnt fully push the on/off switch. take the screw piece off and readjust it and see what happens.

depends on how your house is built. mine has fascia that is 45'ed so I had to buy some clips and cut them to the proper size. also the gutters sold at lowes/home depot only come in 10' sections so you have to splice. also the corner pieces are pretty shitty. overall I might have saved 7-800 or so but it was a big headache just to save that and imo wont look as good and as clean as a continuous gutter like I am sure most professionals would do. I think I did around 110 or so feet. I dont think I would do it again unless it was a small structure and the fascia was flat, the savings wasn't worth it. I also already had a blade to cut aluminum for my miter saw and a set of rivet tools.
I did save and I doubt many people study the gutters on a house well enough to tell the difference... but again it would be much easier with normal flat fascia. also you will save money buying the clips if you need them from amazon along with the hooks to hang the gutters.
