I'm already looking forward to the Netflix documentary coming out about this in 2028

Actually, some dude said we didn't book rooms and ignored their inquiries for several days.

Hobert called him out for being untruthful. The rooms for the team were booked and contract signed but the hotel then double booked them. Auburn and Ole Miss found this out at the same time. Auburn then put them in another hotel that had enough for the original rooms plus the 25 extra. This activity took 6 hours.

Ole Miss dude was just trying to start drama on X.

Actually just read something over on Facebook by an Ole Miss fan that took me by surprise..

In summary basically said Auburn is tired of "liberal Cohen and his antics" and that AU is looking at Malzahn as his replacement....

Just an FYI, if you want a reservation at one of the better restaurants around graduation time, reserve a table around 2 months in advance. Earlier if they let you

Thanks for that tip....(Auburn is thr same way in regards to restaurants around graduation)
Thanks again for all these recommendations! As I mentioned earlier, I guess I'll have about 5 years or so to try all these places out!

My oldest is heading to College Station for grad school and my youngest is heading to Starkville to start his undergrad. I'm a little more familiar with Starkville, but looking forward to spending time there in the next few years as well...

thanks for the tips!

My kid is planning to be there for the next 5 years, so I guess I am about to learn a lot of Bryan - College Station!
My kid will be going to grad school at A&M starting in August. This is one SEC town I am not very familiar with.

We will be there next weekend looking for housing. Any recommendations on some good casual dining spots in the area would be appreciated.... Thanks!

Just saw that come across my Facebook feed. Although I didn't know him he was a familiar and comforting Auburn voice that I listened to for many years.
edit

Joseph "Nacho" Albergamo from LSU back in the 80's

or

Pork Chop Womack from MSU back in the late 90's
got food poisoning from there a few months ago - will be quite a while before I go back
I live in the Baton Rouge area...

Both of my kids just graduated both college and high school...

Oldest just graduated from Auburn and will be pursuing a PhD at Texas A&M

Youngest decided to go to Mississippi State

I would say my two are the outliers .... I'd say a majority of the kids around here go to LSU, for obvious reasons

sort of unrelated - my kid will be going to grad school at A&M starting in August. I don't know much about the College Station / Bryan area but I am looking forward spending some time in a new (new to me) SEC town!

it is a dive - but I love Jerry's Drive In

When I lived in Pcola I ate there at least twice a week....nothing fancy by any means,...a cold beer in a mason jar kind of place with a greasy burger ,some fried okra, or some fried mullet!

*they are cash only
looking forward to the series between the two later this week. It should be a good one!

Congratulations to your daughter on her upcoming graduation. I think the proudest moment of my dad's life was watching me graduate from Auburn.

Thanks so much! I have her graduation and my son's high school graduation the very same week...

He is stepping away from family tradition and will be in Starkville in the fall...

Soon to be empty nesters! Ha!
Thanks for the heads up!

Once I saw this post I notified my daughter about it, - she was not aware, so thank you for sharing!

She is a senior at Auburn and graduating in about 10 days!

10-K a Louisiana based one.

and wasn't Quickkick around at the same time as 10-K??

QuickKick was a Baton Rouge started sports drink as well..
12 years ago my young daughter (at the time) was mauled by my next door neighbors dog. We are fortunate that she is still with us.

both the physical and emotional trauma she endured that day and beyond I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

I hope that your mother is able to recover both physically and mentally from this attack
