But for now the conversation is in Texas tech and not Ole Miss Needed a break :)
Yeah, and the Sorsby thing is MUCH worse than Chambliss getting an extra year. Coaches and ADs are immediately talking about not playing Texas Tech.

This could work against OM, as the local judge thing will be looked at more closely. Doubt anything real comes out of it, though.

Acting like he upgraded going from Bama DC to OM DC.
State was the #7 overall seed in the tournament and beat #2 seed Texas twice during the CWS, then beat #4 Vanderbilt 13-2 and 9-0 (1-hitter) to win the national championship.

NC State was unseeded, and no way were they better or hotter than Mississippi State.
The have two brothers wings in the stadium concessions. My favorite wings.

Hopefully I'd hit the right guy though
He hit the right guy, those reports are wrong. There was an official walking right behind him who immediately went over to the beer thrower, and that's who was punched. The official who was looking wouldn't have picked the wrong guy.

Sort of feels like that is what is coming. He doesn’t look that great in the pressers I’ve seen. Wonder if the “extra curricular” activities are starting to catch up with him again.
He has always looked uncomfortable in press conferences that I have seen, like he has Asperger's. But he somehow can talk to recruits and families well enough to get players to go to his school.

if i go my whole life without ever meeting someone who actually lives in their parent's basement im going to be pretty god damn disappointed
Many places in the South don't have basements. So they may be in a regular bedroom or even put up by the parents in an apartment in town.

Looking at the violations, it looks like Miami's issues were mostly all centered around one booster whereas Ole Miss was based on multiple boosters and multiple coaches, it was more widespread at Ole Miss.
Ole Miss had a woman in Waynesboro, MS cheat on the ACT exam for OM recruits for years. Filling in or changing answers. OM would have recruits from different states take their ACT exam there.

Is this more scorned lover gossip?
Ole Miss fans are the worst fans.

So he had surgery in 2025 for something that caused him to miss the 2022 season? I'm assuming he played during that time.
He won the D2 national championship in 2024. It was all a lie, he simply wasn't good enough to play in 2022. He practiced the whole 2022 season, yet they make it sound like he barely survived.

Pete will say, unlike Ole Miss’ recent success that has NOTHING to do with lane, this tampering all started and was ALL initiated by lane.
If Lane cheated for OM, OM will get punished. Unless Lane gets a show cause, then he and OM would both be punished.

Ole Miss lawyers are about to end the NCAA as we know it.
Let's see how they do without local Mississippi judges.
State is 10-0, outscoring opponents 78-11

What evidence or witness did the NCAA produce which helped their case? I'm not talking about cross-examination of the plaintiff.
The rule that players can only redshirt once unless they have a valid medical hardship. It's not up to the NCAA to produce evidence to back that up.

Maybe the fact that he practiced all season, that's common sense and medical sense that he wasn't disabled.
Ole Miss fans are the worst fans
What is his option if he skips the draft but then is declared ineligible before the season? Can he sign as a highly paid NFL free agent? Could he have teams bid against each other to sign him as a free agent? What are the NFL rules?

I got it, Mister Busy Man.

I doubt it so just asking if DVH is on any kind of hotseat or has he earned the right to retire on his own?
State fired Lemonis three years after winning the national championship. But then again, DVH did a LOT better than Lemonis the past three years.

It might take a team winning a NC who recently hired their coach (like Texas or MSU) to put DVH on the hot seat. That would make Arkansas fans say, "why not us", like so many fan are saying about Indiana in football.
