As an owner of 3 german shepherds, I'll be there opening night
Family had shepherds growing up and I love them. One of them saved my brother from a copperhead when he was around 4/5
I wish I could have them now but don’t have the room and of course the shedding
Wonderful, amazing dog breed. The absolute best imo
eta: just watched the trailer. frick this one gonna hurt. Looks like a great flick though

I’m a third generation bulldog (grandad 1957, dad 1980 grad) but my yankee transplant grandmother is who really drove my Mississippi State fandom.
Grandmother was an orphan born to Irish catholic immigrants who passed when she was very young and she grew up around NYC during the 30’s, 40’s. Her and my grandad were big sports fans and went to a lot of yankee, ranger, giants games throughout the 50’s,60’s and even went to a lot of super bowls back in the day due to my grandads friend being the first head of NFL security.
I say that to give context that they were big sports fans and she actually knew the game well (football, baseball mostly) and when they moved down to Mississippi in the 70’s my grandmother began following MSU sports and later loved coach Ron Polk and those teams. She was also a big fan of Jackie Sherril because he was catholic and our hometown priest was the team chaplain during the 90’s.
Although my dad is a state grad he was so busy with traveling for work that we didn’t go to many games or even watch together but I watched games or listened to Jack Cristil with my grandmother all the time and I cherish those memories. I wish she would have been able to see the national title in 2021

That kind of stuff wasn't in Britain, correct? I'd be willing to bet an overwhelming majority had never seen the hedgerows nor had experience. Also, not sure if recon photos were of that area. Most recon photos were taken from high altitude in 2D format. Not sure if that would have made a difference.
You’d think at least one Frenchmen would’ve piped up and said something about it
I realize a lot of French were casualties of the initial German invasion but surely there was someone that mentioned the hedgerows in the planning of the greatest invasion in human history. I assume the concern was more just thrown to the side and a “we’ll cross that bridge when we get there”

I have a 2018 Tahoe that’s about to hit 130k miles and no major issues so far. Small things like a new battery and brake pads but engine and transmission solid so far (I’d imagine I’ll need a new one in next 1-2 years). It’s been a great car for us and we take it on two 20 hour round trips a year and many 2/4 hour trips in between.
I assume you are looking at newer models though. Personally, I can’t stand the ford SUV interior or steering wheel. Just feels off to me and looks even worse. I’d also prefer a 5.3 v8 or minimax diesel over the eco boost in the ford. Does ford put the 5.0 in the SUV’s? That would be my pick if I had to go ford. As others have said they both have the same transmission
Minivan is also a great option here. My sister has a Honda van and loves it. So much room. Hell, I told my wife if we had a lot of kids (like 4-6) id get one of those older sprinter vans with the big plush turn around seats

A 2021 Lexus LX570.
Last overbuilt SUV ever made, final run of the legendary 5.7 V8.
They are holding their value like crazy and for good reason

Good games UGA

Damn 0-6 and all close games.
Sure, maybe a little luck to do that but it’s more that we had a bad bullpen all year. We lost a lot of close games to good teams all year and that is exactly why.
This UGA team is one of if not the best hitting team I’ve ever seen. It’s not just power either they all seem to have great eyes and work counts as well. Very impressive. Yall are my pick to win it all
I think we can both agree it would’ve been nice to host cal poly or Little Rock this weekend instead.

This does seem to be the case every year. Think they're worried they could have 3/4 of the World Series as sec teams if they didn't have to knock each other out in the super.
That’s exactly why they do it and it’s bs.
Of course the SEC haters say the committee does it so it guarantees an SEC team in Omaha but that opinion is so wildly off base considering for the better part of a decade SEC teams bash everyone else in Omaha

I love it even if we don't have a bullpen. Georgia's wasn't much better but they have monster HR folks. I am not sure that either of these teams are made for Omaha.
Our bullpen isn’t good but UGA’s offense made it and our ace look even worse than they are. We did the same thing to their ace and bullpen.
We are probably the two best remaining offenses in the entire tournament. UGA will probably go win the whole thing now.
Committee loves to pair up SEC hosts in the supers. It’s really fricking annoying.
I don’t necessarily think they should re-seed but I hate year after year multiple SEC hosts being paired up

 yea I don’t know if I’ll ever get out there. I had a buddy that played there once and he did take his pistol from his truck and put it in his golf bag. They heard some shots during their round
Was back in the office today so here’s my actual pencil collection.
Not near as elite as the google image I found and still have a lot to add. Hate I’m missing Philly Cricket Club and I forgot to get The Preserve and Grand Bear last year when I played

I keep them if it’s a new course. I collect pencils and put them in something like this
Doesn’t matter if it’s a goat track or a par 3 course. I wish I wouldve started sooner because I’m missing some good courses I played in my younger days
ETA: not my collection in the pic  I pulled it off google.

t’s like $20 I fridays I think.
Used to work over there and me and a coworker would go on fridays a lot just for the pork chop. It used to be closer to $15 and it was such a good deal. One of the best pork chops you can find even if they are a chain
Everyone else has already covered the restaurants really well. I’ll say I did try Bayonet recently and it was great. A very large and diverse oyster menu

Again, as I posted in another thread, this is nothing new. When I was in high school a very long time ago the football coach at our rival school was run out of town for banging a cheerleader. Back then parents would not run to law enforcement. They would figure that it was better to try to keep things quiet than to let the world know that their daughter was a little slut.
Yep. Happened on two separate occasions (Male coach-female student and female teacher-male student) at my little high school in MS in the late 00’s early 2010’s.
The male coach/female student was uncovered and the coach got fired, female student transferred in disgrace to a few towns over.
The female science teacher banging one of the guys did not get uncovered by staff/parents but just about all the kids knew about it. The teacher was a typical butterface type with huge tits

Happy birthday to a legend.
We were at the beach for Memorial Day and there was a concert on the water and one of the headliners was some cat named DJ Dank Williams. I did not attend said concert.

My dad has a 2024 AT4X AEV and he loves it. Has around 40k miles and no issues so far.
He has another car he drives daily but he has put a lot of long miles on it in 2 years. I told him about the recall and he shrugged it off. The man has always had good luck with vehicles. He’s had several Chevys over the years with no problems.

Ha Lane was in Boca Grande this past weekend. I saw him picking up some jerk chicken in town. Looked like his son and a friend were with him.
Funny enough Dabo has a house on this island and Lane apparently called dabo to see if he could find him a place to rent.
