Since you are sourcing Google. A simple Google search asking if Long Covid is rare gives you this.

Long COVID is not considered rare; it affects a significant percentage of people who contract COVID-19, with estimates suggesting anywhere from \(5\%\) to \(36\%\) of those infected develop lingering symptoms. The exact prevalence varies based on vaccination status, the specific virus variant, and the individual's overall health. Key factors regarding its occurrence include:Frequency: While it is more common among individuals who had severe acute cases, the majority of Long COVID cases actually occur in people who had mild initial infections simply because those cases are so numerous.Recovery: For many, symptoms fade within 1 to 3 months, but for others, the condition can persist for a year or longer.

It’s not rare. Have a great day.

What is it though? Residual fatigue? Everlasting cough? I don’t know anyone with it and figured it was a catchall for anything and everything.

I really don’t want to go into the symptoms reported by people suffering with long Covid. The symptoms seem to be endless and if I’m being honest, sometimes borderline ridiculous.

For me, I had a cough that I could not control for 10 straight months. The cough was most acute when I would eat or i breathe in any sort of powerful fumes or even drink water. Some coughing fits brought me to the point of vomiting.

I would not even go out to eat during this time because I would just cough the whole time sitting at the table.

That cough simply just stopped after 10 months. Right after the cough stopped, I began suffering neurological and fatigue issues.

Those symptoms remain with me today. It’s been pretty brutal.

But if I’m being honest, I really don’t even think I want to discuss it on here because this site can be pretty brutal. I probably should’ve stayed out of this thread.
You consider that rare?

You just made the argument for it NOT being rare.
I love a good Gaucho response.

I tend to drink less when I’m don’t feel right. So I have been drinking less the last several years.

Interestingly, I actually may have some anecdotal evidence that drinking seems to help with the symptoms. Or maybe just masks them. Who knows.

Long Covid is rare anyway

Oh really. Define rare.

I would think by any metric it is far from rare.
I am a longtime TD guy. Went to LSU same time as Chicken and we a know each other. I have always been active and an athlete.

I’m 55 years old, 5’11 and 170 pounds. Never been sickly in my life.

I have never been medicated in my life (until long covid) and have no co morbidities.

I did not get the jab.

I have been suffering greatly with long covid for almost three years. I own my own business and have a great staff and partner or I might quite literally have made a disability claim as I have quite a bit of disability coverage.

Long covid is ruining lives.

I have been under the care of several long covid specialist across the country.

I have tried just about everything including nicotine patches. They didn’t work for me.

Dealers always say they barely make anything off selling a car so fine, just become a service center then and sell direct. Watch the thieves all scream and yell to make their "$100 a car."

Exactly. And this is why the barrier to entry in the automobile industry is so brutally difficult. Easy to find video of Elon talking about it.

Selling parts is a massive part of manufacturers revenue and profit. So getting into the game is almost impossible.

And dealers make a lion's share of their profit (75%) on parts and service.

OEM—>Dealer—>customer
OEM—>customer

Cost to serve that customer can be prohibitive for OEM (especially in more rural parts of big countries).

What you're suggesting isn't happening without MASSIVE buy outs.

I'm not fan of dealerships. But they have hundreds of billions of dollars invested across the country over decades of ownership.

It ain't happening.

Dealerships need to collapse. Their use is gone. Set up maintenance shops where they stood and be done.

Isn't that like saying furniture stores should be gone because we want to buy direct from the manufacturer?

If auto manufactures take over the point of sale part of the business, they (and their shareholders) will be looking to profit off of that part of the business.

E.T.A. Dealerships aren't going anywhere unless the manufactures buy them out. Then they will be looking to get paid back.

I’ve never flew SWA. That whole idea that you just run to whatever seat you want is scary. Now that I’m not burdened by time, I won’t fly unless I can sit in the first few rows.

Southwest has assigned seating now.

And this accommodation isn't a problem to me because these folks could get bumped to a later flight.

In a worst case scenario, they do not take the bump and you have to sit next to a fatty, which can happen on any airline.
The better question might be the opposite.

Meaning did someone end up being really solid when you first thought they were a scumbag.
Pistol Pete scoring average record.
I do not understand why you can't come back if you do not get drafted.

If you get drafted, an NFL team used a pick on you, so I get that.

But if none of them used a pick on you, WTF isn't there an option to come back?
Hard to believe that any business doing any reasonable amount of revenue isn’t using positive pay.

Bo?

ETA. Nope.
Straight to the bra.

Ain’t no one retrieving that.
FFS.

So it doesn't even really matter if you pay the premium for CLEAR? What's the fricking point?
It’s really hard to understand how anyone can defend the vaccine at this point.

Particularly with regard to giving it to children.

Any healthy person under 40 was just rolling the dice. And giving it to children at this point should be criminal.

Hope you like vacated games...

Do vacated loses even matter?

I'll go out on a limb and say 10-2, no SEC championship, and a playoff berth.

LSU win total is 9.5 next fall. So just about every response should be 9 or 10 regular season wins.

I would be happy with 9-3 and no playoffs considering the schedule and all of the turmoil this winter.

8-4 would be a little disappointing.
I agree with your plan.

I do not understand why more fans do not see it this way.

Every other sport on every level operates like you're suggesting. I do not understand why fans think college football should be different.

There is much more parity now and a team that loses two close games (Miami) should not be disqualified. It can happen to any team and it doesn't mean that they are not one of the top teams in the country.

Miami literally just proved this.

At this point I do not give a flying frick what anyone thinks or says, because eventually, what you laid out is going to be exactly (or close) to what actually happens (eventually).
