1 - when it goes from high to low speed sometimes it loses pressure in the line. When it clicks back on the pump takes a bit to prime. I have also noticed that my site glass doesn’t always get filled when the pump is running. What could cause this?

Sounds like you might have a small air leak at your pump. I would first try putting some magic lube on your pump basket O ring, and maybe the suction O ring.

2 - The pool timer for the pumps are acting very strange. Have the basic yellow timers that turn on the main pump to high during the day and should turn it off at the set time, but that doesn’t happen always. I’ll come home and it’ll be running at 6 PM still. For forcing me to go out and turn it to low speed manually. Relatively new timer.

If its an intermatic timer, I would try replacing the the "off" clip with a new one. Also, remember that on clips and off clips are not interchangeable.

Prob the best bet. Or even 1 1/4 if you can. Sucks that you will have to foot the bill tho.
I was curious to see how Platner mocked a fellow soldier of his. Apparently it was over a video of said soldier in combat years ago. I remember when it came out and was posted on TD. Very intense video of a soldier in a firefight, drawing fire away from his squad.

This is what Platner said
quote:

“This video never gets old. Dumb motherf****r didn’t deserve to live. At least his stupidity and fat arse wheezing are available for all future infantrymen to witness and hold in contempt. Poor marksmanship on the Taliban’s part is the only reason this mouthbreather made it home, he managed to make every possible shite decision possible when it comes to small unit combat,”

Wish I could be as cool as Platner.

Interestingly there is a journalist out there who has dedicated his life to discrediting CSM Plumley. Very odd.
FYI, a lot of these replies are stating some extremely high salaries. I wouldn’t bank on that. Unless she hits the jackpot, I’d expect closer to $100k.

Just saw the drama

Well did you like it? I'm searching for reviews on this movie and we have this amazing thread, and another 3 page topic that is only people arguing about whether Zendaya is a good actress and/or if she is hot or not.

Looks good and creepy. Can’t wait.
I’ve noticed that a lot of stores locally put in TONS of self checkout stations, yet they are all closed. Is it a theft issue?

Walmart today had 4 live cashiers and about 40 self checkouts that were closed. Pretty aggravating.

I saw that too, and I find the whole situation odd. She allegedly quit her job on the news to spend more time with family, and now shes an RV expert/spokesperson?

Someone mentioned Slades. Looked them up and going to give them a call. Looks like the closest place to me.

I've made the drive from Slade's to Ponchatoula multiple times with fish in the bags they supply, and never had them die on the way, fyi

Got a quote for $776 for 25 bass and 1000 fathead minnows. Does that sound right?

Just for the fish? Not any services? That's highway robbery. For that many fish, should be about $150.

Not sure of your location, but if you are just looking to stock fish, go to Slade's fish hatchery in Lumberton, MS.

Anybody have a cultured marble shower?

Posted by indytiger on 4/18/26 at 4:16 am
Debating on tile vs cultured marble. The cleaning/upkeep/no grout really intrigues me.
On the northshore or NOLA.

Not impressed with the selection at the big box stores.

Was it? I haven't been since it first opened, honestly just never think about it. That building is cancer for restaurants.
