My wife loves smoked turkey so this might be the joint
We will be in Houston during the week. Not the weekend.
Houston BBQ

The family (wife and 5-year old) and I will be in Houston for family vacation soon and there's two Houston BBQ joints we are attempting to decide between:
1. Truth BBQ
2. Pinkerton's
Any others that should be in the conversation? Fwiw, ribs, brisket, and pulled pork are our staples for BBQ. What does the Board recommend?

re: Anybody out there do teaching at a university or online part time?

The 2-year I picked up when I was working full time at the institution before moving on to another opportunity. The 4-year opportunity came out of nowhere from an individual that was Department Head and use to work with my dad years ago in Higher Ed and knew my background (academically and professionally). And yes, I have a full-time job, but the 2 adjunct positions and course loads are my “side hustles”.
Adjunct positions are usually posted on the institution’s website. Most courses now are 8 week sessions (twice a semester). Rare to have a true 16-week course, but depending on the content and # of enrolled students, it could be 16 weeks rather than condensed.

I teach adjunct online for a 4-year and 2-year. Personal finance and Money & Banking. You will need an MBA with at least 18 hours in the concentration. Absolutely love it.
If you love breakfast, then Atlanta Breakfast Club next to the aquarium is a must. Absolutely delicious food

[/img]Deuce is no doubt being humble. He is absolutely top 4. I don't think Pierre tops the 4 best, but man, I have never seen a RB set up and execute a screen like Pierre. That includes Sproles. Pierre was money on screens.
The Mrs and I celebrated my birthday a week later with a nice steak dinner at Vacca. I had the 22oz cowboy ribeye and we split the baked Vidalia onions. If you haven’t been I highly recommend.

I’m 35 and love to bake! I especially love making various cheesecakes. I’ll do pumpkin rolls, pies, and cobblers. A good homemade pizza dough is great as well, but that’s the extent of the bread side. Would love to attempt some sourdough.

If you’re a sucker for ice cream, hit up “The Hampton Chocolate Factory”.
If they do trade up I'd want it to be for either:
Love
Reese
Bailey
Some are also forgetting they could do a combination of a draft pick and a player. Just a thought.

Think I may know you....have family that are part of that group annually on the wife's side
re: What's your take on the chiropractic profession?
Posted by 9BREES9 on 4/5/26 at 8:52 pm to ClientNumber9
I’ve done it once in the past for about a month period and it was fantastic. That said, most people don’t realize you really need to workout and rebuild those areas they are adjusting and realigning. I’ve thought about going back just for a maintenance once a year but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Ditto. They went away a few years ago and then came back in stock at local Walmarts (white and milk chocolate) about 2-3 years ago. However, the past 2 years I have not had any luck and seem to remember reading that they are no longer being made. There’s no alternative that’s close to replicating IMO.

Judging by your team affiliation (Astros) maybe we can revoke some of those WS games. Go bang on some more garbage cans

The ability for a conference to strip a win from one team and enforce the game resume from the B1 is certainly a choice and something I never knew could be executed. Where was this energy with the Nola No-Call?

From someone that’s not an overly big bread/pizza eater, I absolutely love St Pizza and Forbidden. Nola pizza inside the brewery was pretty good too. Il Supremo is on the list to try.

We rotate but enjoy PJs French Roast, Community Cafe Special, and Pirate King. If we grind ourselves at home, it’s French Truck.
Last year was the 1st time I attended. My wife has been several times. Love country music and Kenny Chesney is 1 of my favorite artists. Hoping to get a signed copy of his book.
