Forgot about this one. Haven't seen it since it came out. Will definitely give it a watch again. Tnanks.
In prepping for Nolan's The Odyssey I have been watching all movies about Greek myths and heroes lately. Some I haven't seen in 20 years or more and some about 5 years. I'll hopefully get them all in before the release date. Add any that I might have missed. Roman themed movies are NOT in the rotation although those featuring Greek heroes may be allowed.

I started with animation and moved on to film.

Great Greek Myths - animated on Prime
Blood of Zeus- animated onNetflix
Jason and the Argonauts
Hercules 1958
Hercules 2014
Clash of the Titans 1981
Clash of the Titans 2010
Wrath of the Titans
Troy
300
300 Rise of an Empire
Immortals

Television

The Odyssey 1997

Still to watch:

Hercules Unchained 1959
Helen of Troy 1956
Ulysses 1954
The Return 2024
Percy Jackson movies (been a few years)
Alexander 2004
Jason and the Argonauts TV miniseries

Contemplating the Seventh Voyage of Sinbad but wanted to keep it Greek centric even though it contains elements Greek mythology.
He first got my attention in Red. Since then I have enjoyed him in just about everything I've seen him in. Did a great take on Bones in Star Trek without doing an impression.

I like Karl Urban, but he's not exactly who comes to mind when I think of "range".

That's entirely down to you. His catalog and this cameo say otherwise. I think he's hilarious and a great serious actor.

I just finished it up. I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Nic Cage was not my idea of a good Spider Man but the overall production, writing, and style was too good of a combination and overcame my misgivings. LaMorne Morris was great and I really enjoyed the secretary's character as well. Brendan Gleeson is as good as he always is. Great production and unique style is a rarity these days and it shined brightly.
It's a movie. Casting is worthy of a discussion. This is beyond that. I find it overblown but hey, you do you. I'm not stopping anything. Just commenting on a comment board.
I have never seen so many baws giddy over a tranny before. It's a new niche in our culture. The memes are like tranny porn and they are addicted.

I started to watch it and it was very aware of itself and not really original or funny, Tom Brady and his manufactured "big man" persona was the first red flag.. So I turned it off and feel good about my decision. It was also just short of 3 hours long. I'd rather watch clips on you tube if I come across them.
Unfortunate. She looks like Peter Lorre in drag. However I feel I should balance the scales with Princess Fawzia Fuad of Egypt.

I enjoyed it. The style was in keeping with the Wickverse and the actor that portrays Young Winston killed it IMO.
I find him lacking in charisma of any sort. I don't even find him able to have much range or disappear into any character from the few films I've seen with him. Granted its not that much. I can only think of Saltburn and trailers I've watched. A bit wooden. A little too emo for my vision and experience of Bond. But that's just me. I'll try and watch Wuthering Heights but I'm not going to watch Euphoria.
Maybe the Pentecostals could join them.

Apostolic swimwear for the beach. Too much ankle in the second pic. Pentecostal boys gonna be going wild.

Detractors say it's not real milk because of the processing and it's owned by Coca Cola. I don't really care because I like it and it tastes like milk used to taste when I was a kid in the 70's and 80's.

And it begins.

His ideas are fine, his issue was really sloppy execution.

The premise of BvS was solid....the details of getting there were just dumb. The fight itself was also good

This. I think Snyder suffers from "How cool would it be if..." syndrome. Basic ideas are solid that just need some tweaking to be very good.

As Fewer Kilometers mentioned. Pa Kent in MOS, The BvS fight(Superman not explaining himself before fighting), WW destroying the building to kill one guy in Justice League, etc. He just does a big thing that goes against ingrained character traits and it leaves a bad taste when it otherwise could have been very good.

No pics to be found of this f’ing loser?

Of course there are on facebook. Simple google search reveals that. Not the OT's specialty
