re: Things Karmelo Anthony could have done to avoid jail

I think there was also a deal that would have been cut pre-trial that they denied because they were raking in a lot of cash from donations.

I don't find Auburn a reasonable pick.
Loyal? Ok. Delusional? Not really. Among all of their horrible characteristics I would assign them, delusional is not one. They know exactly who they are, and that's about the one thing I do respect about them.

Very different times.
Now, every breath they take... every word they say or type... is being monitored. It is MUCH harder to accomplish what few men with guns and privacy to plan were able to do back then.
Not saying it's impossible. It will take spontaneous action from events like this recent beheading attempt where total mob mentality takes over.

There are several contenders. Mostly in pop/rap culture.... but the one that comes most quickly to mind is: The Gobble Gobble song (thanks rick and bubba show)

same.... well, my dad didn't graduate, and i chose the same path he did. he was busy starting a local successful business.... when he saw it paying more than his degree would have, he never went back.

A man that fundamentally doesn't understand is going to say that fear won't encourage faith.
Got it.
Got it.

re: How do people live on eating trash foods?
Posted by m2pro on 6/4/26 at 11:18 am to WaydownSouth
I wonder this all the time. I have an employee who constantly has g.i. issues... when I tell you all he eats is chic fil a and junk food, I mean it sincerely. I wanna help, but I'm not gonna play father role. He's a grown arse man.
But yeah, it's an epidemic of foolish trash gullet stuffing around our country.

Maybe you could cite an example of someone you believe thinks for themselves equally well?
She has some serious balls to be pissing off the powers that she is pissing off. It takes a level of intestinal fortitude very few people have. Much less women.

She and Baron have certainly brought up more than a few points that would raise reasonable doubt in a fair trial, which should clear Tyler Robinson. There is just not enough evidence against him. If you want justice for Charlie, you wouldn't believe the media fedslop that is trying to make this happen fast and without public involvement.

Can we get a list of who is actually pro Candace on here?
I am, as long as she keeps doing what she's doing. I'm not a "fan" of anyone. I am a FAN of people speaking honestly and without a handler that tells them what to think. When it's clear they're speaking for themselves, and they have shown to be able to think critically and outside of the conventional status quo media talking points.... I am in.
She is clearly someone who thinks for herself, whether or not you like what she reports on. (99% Charlie Kir's murder now)

When you've been as successful as Alabama in football, rooting on a second rate sport just has less meaning.
This is partially the reason.
The OP is kinda right, too. But, I do think the buzz is picking up around here lately.
I think the other problem is people that grow up here are Bama football fans above all else, and then you see tons of Braves fans here. So, for baseball, we watch the Braves. That sorta scratches the itch.
We went to a couple Bama games this year, recently. I had a fun arse time. We are gonna buy season tickets next year because for the ones you don't go to, you can sell the tickets for cheap. After only a few, you'll pay for the season ticket prices, and every game you go to is essentially free. So that's our current plan for next year.

If the media runs their shiteaters, they're lying. So, it's no surprise they bs us about Russia.
The south, in America, never had good media. We see how they treated us until we fully conformed.

Absolutely yes. The tunnel network I speak of is water tight. They've been there for a very, very long time.
If it's air tight, how will you breathe? How will you eat? You need to think UP, not down. Believe me. Still, what comes after is essentially as unsurvivable anyway. Suit yourself!

Solid plausibility. Still, I think Israel is dictating that.. and I don't think they want the Greater Israel project to suffer for that.

The poles wander and they have also flipped.
True polar wander creates massive Tsunamis, earthquakes, land formational changes... all kinds of hell. And there is a mountain, pun intended, of evidence this has happened numerous times.
quote:
If the poles flip no place will be safe. Mountain ranges? They'll be hit with devastating earthquakes.
The rough idea is that if we are 5-6k feet above sea level we may survive phase 1. 600 mph tsunamis that will resurface and salt the entire land mass below. Colorado and their peaks would be actually a fairly safe place for the first step.
Some mountain ranges, under some models, would suggest the western South American coast would provide safety for phase 1 as well. After all I have seen, I'd prefer to bunk up in Colorado. Then move north and east (as we know north and east, not the NEW north and east)... so think Maine / Canada to avoid frozen climate... as the equator will have moved.
There's not much hope in any scenario, really. Historically, about 5-10% of us survive at all.
