The old Friday Dump. Interdasting...

I guess, my focus is on cause rather than the ineffective response to it.
My point on this is that at this point the ineffective response has become enabling every bit as much as someone giving a heroin addict free needles. It's the rare Democrat who goes to DC then ends up becoming a bit more Right-leaning (it took Fetterman a stroke to do so). On the other hand, one of the biggest complaints for GOP voters is how Republicans we elect wind up moving to the Left (read: becoming swamp critters) and going along with the insane levels of deficit spending is chief among those movements.
Until our party's elected officials begin actually holding the line, any stances about the spending being the other party's fault does nothing because our own party members are doing it as well (both through adding their own spending as well as not cutting spending).
Wanting to make sure elections are secure is grifting, eh? It's that sort of elitist attitude (ie: you plebes shouldn't think enough of yourselves to question me) which earned him a big, fat cup of "frick off" by his constituents.

People who equivocate like that guy did, especially with simple questions, are worthless. "I don't know what you mean by 'illegal alien'."
horseshite. He either knows and is just too much of a hack coward to actually talk on it or he's not worth having in the conversation.

Wait!
WTF?
"The kneejerk is to blame Democrats"?
You're better than that, quote the full sentence.

The kneejerk is to blame Democrats for being hyper-partisan, but the deficit spending issue has become so great that doing so is just a distraction.
The GOP has had plenty of opportunities to reign in deficit spending and balance the budget, they haven't.
And now it's so bad that they can't balance the budget without sending us into recession. It's like having two people on a boat drilling holes in it, one on the starboard side and the other on port. When the boat starts sinking they spend their time blaming the entirety of the problem on the other person's hole.
The kneejerk is to blame Democrats for being hyper-partisan, but the deficit spending issue has become so great that doing so is just a distraction.
Adjusting for inflation, deficit spending is now over 6x what they had in 1981 and increasing. We're at a point now where most of the years since the GFC have seen deficit spending outpacing the dollar amount of GDP growth for that same year. This means that if we balanced the budget, we would go into a deep recession, possibly a depression.
As time goes on, the only agreement Republicans and Democrats in Congress are going to have is raising the debt ceiling so they can keep spending insane amounts of money to keep themselves in office.

The owner should be in jail IMO.
Until we start seeing lots of owners getting jailed and/or heavily fined over this, they will still keep hiring illegals.

Already seen that comment from the tinfoil hat crowd who doesn't understand how closed loop systems work.
The last time I looked into it, the center in Holly Ridge would be an evaporative center, not a closed loop. It's been about a year, so that may have changed.

I was in Talented and Gifted, but I guess we got shafted because the most we did was learn how to develop pictures and study art. :casty:
My teacher got pissy with me one day because instead of saying "yes ma'am" I said "yes'm". She took me out to the hallway and tried to berate me into saying "yes ma'am" and when I refused she sent me to the office.
That's all I got. non-csb.

Did he lose a bet and then try "double-or-nothing" and lost then too?
Sunny Hostin going on vacation next week?
Or do we get to watch her get pissy when JD calmly disarms her complaints?
Personally, I'm hoping for her to have to deliver another of those hostage-style apologies the network forces her to make for some batshit crazy claim she tries to make against him.

The wife still cannot understand why tUSA does this. Of course she came here as an immigrant. I don't know why either.
Deficit spending went off the rails during the GFC, seemed to be heading back to some semblance of being managed by people who gave at least a half-damn, but then veered back off into CrazyLand with COVID and have remained there ever since (and math dictates it will only increase).
As this continues, Congress has looked (and will continue to look) for more and more avenues to tax income without just blanket raising rates so high as to cause revolt.
See also: American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 which now means that anyone selling something online for more than $600 total in a year would suddenly trigger an official tax document (prior to this it was hitting both $20,000 in gross sales and 200 individual transactions from a given site).

Trying to burn documents about the MAL raid before Pulte gets there?

Child marriage is defined as a marriage where at least one of the parties is under 18, which the United Nations calls a human rights violation and a form of forced marriage since at least one or both parties have not given their full, free and informed consent.
Interesting since ~25% of the UN's makeup is Muslim-majority countries (Muhammad, as an adult, married a child of 6yrs old and "consummated" the marriage with her when she turned 9yrs old).

Which one of you baws ran over an alligator thinking you were going to visit my dearest Clotile after I left?
Not me, I need the exercise so I walk there. The gators will leave you alone if you distract them by throwing meat at them. The rougarous though... there have been nights where dear Clotile has had to be bereft of my caring touch.

That's a pretty sweet deal. Room and board completely covered, you get to travel AND get paid and all for giving a couple of speeches you can just recycle endlessly?
For a retirement job that beats the hell out of being a Walmart greeter.

We saw this play out in the 90s with N.O.W. supporting Bill Clinton despite the Gennifer Flowers (cheating on his wife), Paula Jones (sexual harassment), Juanita Brodderick (physical abuse and sexual harassment) and Monica Lewinski (cheating, power harassment) scandals.
Once you take a moment to glimpse behind the curtain of these faux movements, you can't unsee the truth of them.
