Our guys looked like high school boys while most of these teams had men.
You changed the channel when Cerna, Bide, Braun and Pearson came to the plate?

isnt this the dude who fought a teammate on the field after a game and got kicked off the team? lol
Half the Rant said this years team lacked passion and emotion…so….checks that box.

3rd winningest coach in SEC history doesn’t get you on list of all timers?
Behind only Rupp and Donovan.
Ahead of CM Newton, Durham, Pearl, Richardson, etc.
Multiple Sweet 16s, elite 8s, final 4s. SEC titles.
Man yall have a different measure of success

Dale Brown was an excellent motivator but not a great floor coach
That’s overblown. Dales the 3rd winningest coach in SEC history.

Anyone who says they would rather have 2021 or 2025 over 2011 is either a dummy or a giant LOSER.
And yet you’d still want both coaches fired. Heck you want coaches fired mid season that end up winning championships.

This is the correct answer.

Would you rather go undefeated against what at the time was not so arguably the greatest regular season resume of all time, winning the SEC, which included a win over the team that beat you for the national championship in the mulligan bowl, or would you rather have Brian Kelly/Frank Wilson’s last season?
Dude. What are you even doing? Do you want burnt popcorn or scorched macaroni? You’re just throwing out words now.

People that say UCLAs season forget LSUs 2011 football season. LSU fans have literally never stopped complaining about it. And likely never will.

Anybody saying they would rather have LSU’s season has either never played ball or simply has the mentality of a giant LOSER.
Either way you’d be calling for both head coach’s heads so what’s it matter?

I'm no scout but this sounds like the sane type that Jay missed on this season, solid mid-tier stats that you hope translates to SEC ball.
What do mid-tiers
Air Force
Utah Valley
Indiana State
UC SanDiego
all have in common?

If Pearson is in your everyday line up we are in trouble. Same with Patrick.
I’d probably agree with the Pearson take. I wouldn’t make that call on Patrick just yet. True freshman that was thrown into the mix of an absolutely dismal situation.

You cannot lose Serna or Bide.
Way too much pop in their bats. They both will be studs at the plate.
That being said- what to do positionally? Jays gonna have to earn his money with this decision.
Braun is a sure starter. Bat is going to be awesome. 1st or OF.
Ruckert looks like a guy who is going to be a solid starter for the next 2 seasons. 2nd or SS.
Patrick could make that next step up. He showed flashes. Hope he secures OF position. Work to be done though.
Pearson. I had big hopes. Not nearly there yet. Will he stay around if he doesn’t see himself as a starter? Maybe not.
Don’t give up on a young guy like Clauss. Overwhelmed in his shot this season but has a great background. Freshmen become sophomores.
Seems like portal help needed at several positions. Jay has been successful at that every year but this one. I say he’ll get it done.
Pitchers. Some young guys like Paz will make the next step. Regardless of what Rantards say. It will happen.
More seasoned guys like Schmidt etc. Jay and Yeskie will have work cut out but I’d like to think at least 3-4 of those guys make the jump and improve.
Portal pitching definitely would help.
