Mad props to your dad for saying he would shoot him again in the same circumstance, and same to you for how well you’ve handled it all. You boys are made of stronger stuff than most people are nowadays.

If I was Sorsby I would just say I am not playing and hope to hell that the NFL has some forgiveness for him and he can get a shot in the supplemental draft or some tryouts...

You are insane. His only hope is to go out and show out this year. Waiting for the NFL to maybe forgive him is stupid. He’d better throw for 5000 yards and 40 TDs this year.

I haven’t seen a popularity contest thread on here in a while.
Eko was a great character with an interesting background. His transformation from drug thug to priest was very entertaining.

But don’t let me stop you from being edgy.
I’ll give all the credit to the Knicks, I thought SA was going to breeze through this. Glad I was wrong, make it a series!

Good luck NY. You’re gonna need it.

Don’t think the Knicks have a chance. Will be lucky to get the series to game six.

SGA played scared and deferred to Casan Wallace.

He'd penetrate and get to the middle of the paint and then jump into no one and pass. Crazy what happens when he doesn't get his usual whistle.

Might be the kind of thing that makes him grow up and become a better basketball player.

Don’t roll the window down more than an inch and keep informing the officer that you know your rights. Might even ask for a supervisor.

Just claim you’re a sovereign citizen.

Will Wade is singlehandedly trying to torpedo it

I do fully believe that after what the NCAA did to him after his first stint with LSU, Wade is absolutely taking the structure that the NCAA currently has and is daring them to do something.

The NCAA can bluster and fuss all they want, but they have been defanged. Not saying it’s good for college sports, because it’s not, but frick what the NCAA had been doing for decades and frick them now.

less and les employees

What an interesting quirk to have many employees named Les.

I like the idea, but I was surprised in the polling so many wanted to keep it and over 40% wanted to keep standard time if we went to one.

I don’t even care which one we go to, so long as we pick ONE.

Luis would likely need significant and lasting judicial intervention to play for LSU.

And I hope he never gets it.

You decide to go pro, the door should be closed forever to college athletics.

So, capitalism? (Smiles in American)

Capitalist services provided during a communist gridlock.

My Asian wife laughed at that.

I applaud her sense of humor.
I could not imagine the rage that would induce in people.

Bangalore India can be as bad (on avg traffic times.)

Apparently a rampant problem across all of Asia.

World’s Longest Traffic Jam

quote:

The longest traffic jam in recorded history occurred in August 2010 on China National Highway 110 and the Beijing-Tibet Expressway. Triggered by massive construction work combined with a high volume of heavy coal trucks, the gridlock stretched over 100 kilometers (62 miles) and lasted for 12 days. Thousands of drivers barely moved a kilometer per day.

The situation was so severe that a makeshift mini-economy emerged along the highway, with local entrepreneurs bicycling in to sell bottled water, instant noodles, and snacks at heavily inflated prices to stranded motorists.

Locals near the highway sold various goods like water, instant noodles, and cigarettes at inflated prices to the stranded drivers.[3][10] A bottle of water normally cost 1 yuan, but on the highway it was sold for 15 yuan. Drivers also complained that the price of instant noodles had more than tripled.[12] Some vendors created mobile stores on bicycles.[12]

50 lane toll plaza condenses to four lanes

quote:

he "50-lane highway" in China is a viral, frequently shared image showing a massive toll plaza on the G4 Beijing–Hong Kong–Macau Expressway near Zhuozhou, south of Beijing. It is actually roughly 25-50 toll lanes (depending on count/time) that funnel traffic from a wider area back into 4-5 lanes, frequently causing extreme congestion during holidays like Golden Week.

Just for next time you feel the need to hate on your local traffic.

Baseball will get a much larger nil next year.

I haven’t followed closely, has this been stated?

Imagine saying you want a coach who has won two national titles in four years gone.
