Enjoyed it way more than I anticipated. I thought all the characters were great. Especially loved Brendan Gleeson as mob boss Silvermane.

using "You'll Never Leave Harlen Alive" to end every season is just perfect--Best use of a song in tv history.

I think Badfinger's "Baby Blue" at the end of BB's series finale trumps that, IMHO.

Justified is great, the characters are great, and for action alone it's more rewatchable, but for me Breaking Bad is the superior series. It's like comparing The Godfather and Goodfellas, and I LOVE them both:
--Goodfellas--more action, more accessible.
--Godfather--deeper, more serious, superior.
He played several different roles in the mid-90's show Xena: Warrior Princess. These included Julius Caesar and a weird Cupid.

The Classic song "Sleepwalk", 67 years old, has always been a favorite and done well my many artists including Joe Satriani, Carlos Santana, the Ventures, Larry Carlton, and others.

Here's a live version by one of my favorite (and probably underrated) artists, Brian Setzer.

"Everything I Own" by Bread isn't an actual love/relationship song. David Gates wrote it about his father after his death.

Great old song though. Back in the day Bread's Greatest Hits album was quite the makeout cassette in my '76 Cutlass Supreme.

Kinda like Bama's 1941 natty claim. Only #3 in their own conference but #1 in your Houlgate hearts.

Grayton Beach. Off of 98 past the madness of Destin and just before the craziness of Seaside. They have their own beach that very few folks not staying there go to. A couple of good divy bars/restaurants.

No condos, no hotels, just home rentals. It's not cheap but easy to get one in walking distance.
Such a quotable movie.

Cal: No.
Jacob: Oh, OK. In that case, you've got no right to wear New Balance sneakers, ever.

This. I've been saying that since the start. I never liked the idea of a bye for the college teams, so I always hated the 12 team playoff. I figured they'd jump to 16/no byes, but what the hell?!? Straight to 24?

Anyway, as they say, it is what it is. But as Zeppelin says, now it'll be "what is and what should never be".

Spent a lot of time and money there and then went in the Bayou and spent the rest.
I always thought the percussion in Buddy Holly's "Everyday" was interesting.

Just looked it up and while close it's not actually hand clapping.

From his Wiki page:

quote:

In a departure from standard recording practices, drummer Jerry Allison did not use a drum kit; instead, he provided the song's rhythmic foundation by slapping his hands against his knees throughout the take.

The ultimate hand clapping song? Why of course, the Hand Clapping Song.

Their last album was unexpectedly good also. Great 80's music (in an entirely different way...).

Same here. Didn't he put it in whatever water supply was going to the sprinklers in the White House? Won't it eventually get released anyway?
