I have a 70” Onn that I bought from Walmart cheap as I could find. It’s going on 5 years with zero issues and the picture looks perfect to me

No they didn’t. They are still The Czech Repubkic. They didn’t officially change a thing, it just got promoted about 10 years or so ago for branding purposes. It caught on in Europe. It’s not common vernacular here at all. It just doesn’t make sense for an American broadcast to use it
