You’re right but the saying has always been people have to eat something and groceries aren’t cheap either. Really makes you wonder what restaurants are going to be around 3-5 years from now.
Inflation is still well above the Fed’s 2% target and interest rates for a 30 year fixed rate mortgage are over 6.5%.
I feel like the heyday of Sammy’s was early 90’s to mid 2000’s.
Some of these recent restaurant closures in BR and NOLA are surprising.

Wasn’t Palermo open for at least 10 years?

Restaurant owners say the toughest part of a new restaurant is the first 3-5 years.

This restaurant survived the pandemic and was in a very busy part of town. Are they relocating or shutting down for good?
Their fried mushroom appetizer was awesome
I thought it was great. Any idea what happened to the owners and why they close it down?

Who else remembers Aladdin Cafe?
Western Travis county is great. Lakeway, Steiner Ranch, Spicewood, Hudson Bend and Bee Cave are great places with nice hill country views.
