Yes, a good friend of mines sister transitioned years ago to a man. I honestly wouldn't have known if he hadn't told me. I get along fine with her/him.

I never heard of them. I may be taking a last minute trip and this came up as an option at a reasonable rate.

The painting shows the little girl being rescued. At least that’s the way I see it. I think Loftis’s was a descendant of that girl.

I was just there for the Grand Prix. Food was great, people were friendly, even the female cops were attractive and in abundance.

There was one element that was not as prevalent as Louisiana.

I wish SS would collapse and be dissolved so I can invest my contributions for myself and my family.

ETA: I just looked at my SS estimated benefits and just laughed knowing that it will get a big haircut.

She sort of does. The good thing is i switched to in house about a decade ago and partner with a bunch of smart financial people. My wife knows some of them and my people know to make sure she and the kids are heading in the right direction. I worry about it because I am absolutely worth more dead than alive and she knows it as well :lol:.

This is a very accurate statement. I am very fortunate that I am at a company that provides a very healthy contribution to my 401k. I wish I would have started with them earlier.

Just finished the audiobook and enjoyed it. I think its probably #3 for me at this point. Will do a relisten to see if my opinion changes. I wonder if the Sydney Iglesia interlude at the end spoils how the series will end.
