Pitch a few dunks over the fence into their pond every ither month. It'll help by August.

re: One of our South African immigrants is amazed by America

To be fair he looks like he's in a rural area. It's disingenuous. I'm sure there are lots of areas in South Africa where it would be similar.
Send him to anywhere in Chicago and see if he feels the same way.
Or L.A
Or D.C
Or Detroit
Or Baton Rouge
Or New Orleans
Or South Bend
Or Houston
You get the point. Even small cities here are legitimately unsafe for a lot of people after dark.

I haven't found a Knob Creek I didn't like if I'm being honest. Early August we're heading down to the bourbon trail for 4 days and plan to hit 8 or 10 distilleries. I plan to buy one id every unique bottle of Knob Creek I can find at JB that I don't already have.
Little Book and Bookers too for that matter.

Tornado sirens going off here in South Bend. Sounds like there was a funnel cloud spotted and confirmed in radar about 30 miles west of me.

When discussing rising electricity prices, the report says the accounts "claimed" this was the case. But it really is happening, as noted by Bloomberg, which found that prices have risen by up to 267% in areas near data centers.
It's wild when the Chinese Propagandists are being more honest than American capitalists.

It absolutely can and will be if he just starts destroying everything to the point that the population freaks out because they're gonna die of thirst, they'll take these dudes out or die. When the population is willing to stick a knife in the local IRGC at the marketplace to do their part and take one with them, it's over. IRGC no longer show up at work.
The current generation of Americans, and more importantly American politicians, don't have the stomach for the kind of violence that would end this.
