but what’s also super cool looking back is Pat O’Neil is in this episode, Tony announced him as “using his new golden ticket for the first time” but no one in the audience knew who he was yet because his original appearance episode where he gets the golden ticket/regular spot hadn’t even aired yet
he crushes it just likes he’s done in all appearances going forward too

The first few bucket pulls were all horrible but Timmy was great at mocking them…randomly a string of bald dudes and then … a pair of back to back jiu jitsuers … back to back Japanese …. What for? Brian didn't do anything nefarious. In fact, he pushed back on some of the stuff Ben wanted to do along the way.
He actually answers this in the video I posted above.
BAM is suing Bryan by claiming he hired Ben to harass them, so he’s part of the lawsuit along with Ben.
But Ben thinks that’s hilarious because they have all communications from first phone call…Bryan’s friend is actually the one who emailed Ben’s email first, Ben saw it and thought it would be an easy/lighthearted and fun story to take on.
And obviously he has never accepted payment and only ever acted on his own, and he truly only wanted Bryan’s Legos back and nothing else.
BAM is also suing for the GoFundMe because they claim that is digital harassment or some nonsense.
Now he also says he just wants an apology for for BAM to admit they were wrong.
Ben had a good interview yesterday where he gave some spoilers for part 3…one of the spoilers is that this is around the 12th time or something absurd where corporate has offered to sit down and settle/talk about the legos.
And each time it’s the same playbook… they play nice, agree to meet/discuss/settle, then when it’s finally all agreed to they say to stop calling and trespass/call the police/threaten legal action. Hard to take them seriously now
You can tell by Kai’s call to Chrystal and Josh’s calls with Ben that intimidation and hostility through lawsuit is ingrained in their culture.

the geographic size and lack of flexible, affordable transportation between cities and then even in the city travel to the stadiums themselves make each match so hyper local
you can’t just fly from overseas and say “let’s go to Houston, LA, New York, Mexico City”
Flights, hotels, travel and traffic to and from the stadium requires a lot of money and planning

you make this joke but actually the crew and backup singers are the pressure for a lot of this too
i forgot who it was, but there was an artist who said basically he doesn’t need to tour, but every tour provides the salary for the roadies, lighting, sound, backup singers, extra musicians, etc….and these crews have been performing and traveling with these bands for years so they are “family” to them and they want them to have work
