That was predictable

SC had a great season. Not quite ready for Omaha, but got pretty damned close. Restock the cupboard and go again next season.
UNC switched it up and started their bullpen ace, Caden Glauber. SC up 1-0 in the top of the 2nd.
Younghoe Koo sounds like a rap name if pronounced phonetically, but he's a Korean-American in the NFL.
The key to the game is to get Boaz out of there early. SC's best hitters are 30% less effective against left-handers. After that UNC will platoon through their bullpen to finish the game, but the more you wear them out...

...so I'm saying there's a chance. Even with a loss today, I can't be too unhappy. SC baseball is so much better under Stankiewicz, the new Dedeaux Field complex looks awesome, and the Trojans broke some records. Omaha would be amazing, but yeah. Fight On!

As clutch a pitching performance as you’ll see from DeCaro. Complete game 2 hitter

That kid was nails. For context, USC hasn't been shut out all year, until yesterday. I'm hoping SC's bats come alive today against lefty Folger Boaz. SC also needs a good outing from Andrew Johnson on the mound.

Today's pitchers:
USC Andrew Johnson (8-2, 3.46)
UNC Folger Boaz (3-3, 7.03)

The Hammond Hibernators?

Not Ursine, but I think Hammond Eggs sounds appetizing.

Maybe not but this guy can.
I thought it was an excellent game. Both starting pitchers played well, but SC's bats were the difference. SC's closer also got a much needed confidence boost after a couple of tough outings. Chapel Hill should be a hoot.
Going to OT. I'm hoping Buffalo can win this.
*men. I didn't mean to go full Maxine Waters there.
Refs dropped the ball on the "too many man call" that wasn't made on the Habs shortly after. It happens.
Habs at Sabres Game 7 is the game I'll be watching tonight. I'll catch the highlights of this one on YouTube.

It's funny to see salty Oilers fans on r/hockey criticize Anaheim for hiring Q apparently ignorant to the fact they hired Stan Bowman.

No sympathy for Oilers fans. I'm not a fan of the Quacks but props to them for bursting the McJesus bubble. Signed, me and every other LA Kings fan.
Brutal loss for MN. NHL playoffs are like that. I'm an LA Kings fan for context. We haven't won crap since 2014.

Baseball

Don't sleep on SC baseball. Andy Stankiewicz has something going on in the new Dedeaux Field complex. I'm thinking Omaha is possible.

I was 9. And I still get goosebumps and butterflies remembering a house full of little boys running around like we knew any of the rules.

I was 12. I remember going outside after it just ended, and seeing everyone on my street out there going crazy. It was like we'd just won WW3 without firing a shot, unless it was a shot on goal. Amazing thing to experience as a kid.

Dayum!
The hate comes from success. That's when you know you've made it.
