SWLA has largely been ignored by ICE until recently. Now we just need them to come to Lake Chuck and raid the mobile home parks. Tons of Hondurans are still here from the hurricane recovery work.

I personally know someone who was renting a building to a restaurant in DeRidder, and the owner is shutting down because the kitchen staff was deported, so he hired another kitchen staff, and ICE raided them again. Now, the owner has chosen to break the lease and shut down. The owner should be in jail IMO.

Of course, there is the argument that this is a typical balance sheet for tax purposes, but when combined with the dad's statements in the lawsuit, and their actions over what should be a small amount for them to pay and settle this ordeal, it looks like they are either greedy or broke.

Source, my wife and her friends, so again it's just an observation but it's one that seems widespread.
