it would be completely fine and fun if it was done like 1/10 of the amount that it currently is. it's way fricking overdone
only team that can beat the knicks

Neither Mizzou nor Kansas will ever make such a list.

actually missouri has 2 team national titles in their history and kansas won 1 in the same sport the year after 1 of them

That’s a pretty shitty list. As the OU poster said, I think it’s UT-A #1 by a pretty wide margin in the SEC.

the media doesnt think it's texas because for some reason they are also equally delusional about texas as their fanbase is for some reason

for me, tennessee should be #1. auburn has never been remotely as annoying as tennessee plus they've actually won something. surprised to see them higher than the vols.

Anybody going to try to make the trip to Omaha?

i looked briefly, but doesnt seem super manageable without significant work time off on short notice.

going this weekend friday-sunday for example and you only get to see 1 of our games. waiting to see if we are still alive for the 2nd weekend is pretty tough to plan for.

i understand that you're going for more than just our games, but i cant justify it to only see us play once.
i agree completely with that. beating florida is better than beating tech. losing to tech is worse than losing to florida, though. interesting.

another aside, and i felt compelled to post since i was kinda banging the florida drum as a bigger rival than tech.

i was tuned into like every pitch of the tech baseball game and am giddy they lost. florida just went out as well, and i am definitely satisfied, but i dont really care all that much. points for tech in the rivalry war in my mind.

m most interested in how its going to lookwithout Haynes King and Buster Faulkner. Those two hid a lot of deficiencies within that program. ….They affected games more than talent or culture.

i get what he's trying to say but just kinda dumb. they were the talent and culture lol.
im not a travel baseball baw, but i wonder how many travel sports haters are sending their kids to private school their whole life just to end up at lsu?

it frankly seems like, although we have a set order, the rotation is fairly equal and our pitching strength comes in depth, not top of the line quality.

emerson hancock isnt on this roster. im fine with sticking with it.
oh no it's 90 degrees in france right now? poor baby euro poor sinner.

wouldn't last a day in the SEC
im gonna be honest, i dont understand this even one fricking bit. on the surface, it's one of the dumbest ideas ive ever heard, but im not even wasting the time to learn more about it. frick off, cal
damn, i was possibly gonna go to the arkansas game. not sure i will now.

also, ive got 2 small kids now, 12pm or close to it games are by far the worst for accessibility to set aside time and watch or do something for it.

Just play the games...

sure, but im not on the team nor do i have any influence on the team, so im gonna bitch.

spoiler alert: im also going to "look past" tennessee state, western kentucky, and arkansas and be thinking about oklahoma. hopefully kirby doesnt read my posts and share with the squad.

I noted that people who didn’t go to UGA seemed to not have the Tech hate as much.

not that it matters, but i did go to uga early 2010s and i don't really know why going there would have made me hate tech any more than not going there. i grew up in metro atlanta, which i would assume is also the location that would lead people to hate tech the most? but it didnt, because they suck.

we did not think about them or talk about them at all.

at some point, their mediocrity (or worse than mediocrity) is going to have an effect on how their rivalry is viewed (and it looks like it already has).
if the sec breaks away from the rest of college sports, it would be the dumbest possible move they could possibly make. can these fricking idiots just talk to regular people for once?

im sure (im not sure) they are empty threats to try to get some things done, but frick all of this man. every single part of this shite absolutely sucks.
im pretty annoyed at the mississippi state draw.

aside from the fact that we could go 5-2 or 4-2 against a team over the course of a season and be eliminated by them, it's just fun to play different teams. kind of the point of a national tournament.

we've already gone 4-0 against them. why should they get another chance against us? basically the entire season was meaningless. being significantly better than them over 60 games and the only thing that came out of it was that we get the series at home? idk just seems dumb.
what happened there? i got caught up at work and didnt even see the change. luckily i checked in and was able to catch the last few innings and we were ahead.
