It made me miss threads where the OP didn't post vague titles with blind links.
I don't get the point for anyone besides Chicken and any other TD stockholders. A lot of TD posters were apparently raised off of Buzzfeed.

The fakest "best player in the world"
Wemby is still just 22 years old, and he's by far the main reason the Spurs made it to the finals. I think that Jokic is probably the best player right now, but I don't think that it's fair to rag on Wemby right now. I don't believe that he's declared himself the best, so why give him shite about not coming through in the finals, especially going up against a stud vet like KAT? Like, regardless of your profession, how good are you at your job now relative to your second year? Considering the circumstances, I don't think that this series should be a red flag for Wemby.

So you wanted him to stay with this franchise?
I suspect/hope that the Pels traded him as a favor + as a path to getting Fears more playing time, and didn't do it with the expectation of improving. We didn't get anything of legit value back, and he was a winning player + fan favorite.
Murray does have some of that "dawg" in him. Not as much as Jose, but enough to be a really good mentor to Fears. And DJM's value was really low coming off the injury, so I get why they traded Jose instead. But as my 95 years young gamgam says when she wants to destroy me, "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed."

+11 in 16 minutes. I don't care about his size issues, all he does is win his minutes. And a lot of people thought he wouldn't see important postseason minutes.

My understanding is that the topography is the main reason they chose NOLA. Boring wants to get the experience working with the wet soil.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with the PT debate. He and Kamara are top 2 for me. PT was insanely efficient, he just never had the volume to be considered an elite player. Prime Kamara was the best, though.

I posted it in nic's thread earlier, we should have kept those two and Naji. A team with Jose/Hart/Naji, whatever we lack in wins, we more than make up for in both dawg and 5+ game suspensions for fighting pussies like SGA. I don't give a frick, bring back 45 year old David West to play ~10 minutes a game to slap around Eurofigs like Wemby and Jokic.

We lost our "got dat dawg in dem" players. I don't care how shitty we would be (realistically, we wouldn't win many games), but a team with
Fears
Jose
Herb
Naji
Hart
Trey
Queen
would be fun, and the other 29 teams in the NBA would hate us. Naji/Hart/Jose would get on Fears and Queens's asses if they slack. Herb isn't as vocal, but his effort is infectious. That would be the most entertaining 30-35 win team that I can think of, maybe better if Fears makes a jump and Herb goes back to shooting 38%+ from deep.

Life is really cheap there.
And not just on the macro level. You see videos of them dying in public spaces, and no one seems to give a shite. I'll try to find it and post it, but there's one where there's about 6 people hanging around a shallow pool/tub, and one Jeet dives in, gets seriously concussed (or worse), lifelessly floats around the shallow pool, and the other 5 just kind of watch his body floating. Absolutely no urgency to help. The video had about 45 seconds after he dove in where no one did anything. Trash country and culture.

I don’t get the allure of going to a beach with no people and just sitting out there all day… pretty boring if you ask me
That's exactly why I want to go to the beach. Quiet relaxation with limited crowds. I avoid the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach condos and opt for standalone homes in Fort Morgan, usually around mid-October to late-November. I'm OK with not getting into the water at all, but I always end up getting in there for a brief spell. I usually start to back out once the waves hit my balls, but sometimes get to nipple height.
I've never done Dauphin but they look like a nice, cheaper option. But the island doesn't have much of anything in the way of entertainment. Even during the offseason, Fort Morgan has more to do.
re: How many more high rise condos will Orange Beach cram in there?

How many stories are considered a high rise?
International Building Code has an official number:
The floors above that 75' have to be occupiable, so it doesn't count if it's just mechanical/elevator rooms. There are pricey electrical and sprinkler requirements that kick in once a building is a "high rise", so you see a lot of buildings that fall just short of that.
I don't do much residential/condo type work, but from what I recall, condos more than 3 stories hit thresholds that see big jumps in costs. So you won't see many new 4 story condos because they're not financially viable (once you go beyond 3, you need to go higher than 4). I know that the NOLA WHD does have a decent amount of 4 story condos (I've lived in one), but those were built 100+ years ago.

Good, maybe keep some of the trashy people out
Just because I do Zyn doesn't mean I'm trash. If I were to be ripping on a pair of 6's in a fancy French restaurant, I would discretely dispose of them in a napkin prior to eating or tasting wine. If napkins were not available, I would do the classy thing and swallow them (which may result in some limited coughing/gagging, but again, discrete). Worst case scenario and the food unexpectedly comes out after I just popped a fresh one, I'll sneak it behind my ear and put it back in my mouth at an appropriate and bourgeois time.

So don't even dare to bring a sleeve with you on a vacation, or you could be sticking around for much longer than you intended to.

France’s health ministry has banned a number of popular nicotine-based products including Zyn pouches, and violators of the law could face a nearly half-million-dollar fine and years in jail.
The prohibition extends to the use, acquisition, possession and sale of oral nicotine products such as pouches and gum lozenges. Those violating the law could be penalized by up to five years in prison and a $436,600 fine.
