Tennessee self-imposed penalties for each of the violations. All of those penalties were approved by the NCAA.
Tennessee's football team was involved in four of the violations, three of which involved recruiting. One of the violations resulted in secondary coach Willie Martinez's previously announced one-game suspension, which kept him out of Tennessee's season-opening 59-30 win over Bowling Green.
