While making his rounds at ESPN’s "Car Wash" on Tuesday, Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher made some comments as to whether a two-loss SEC Champion should get into the College Football Playoff over an undefeated or one-loss Power 5 Conference team.

Yeah, and last year was the very first time we weren't the best conference in over a decade. We were second to the Pac-12, not even the ACC. Although we did send a record 12 teams to Bowls, and we still had a winning Bowl record. That's a testament to the conference's strength that can't be discounted.

This probably depends on the teams. Two-loss Bama was clearly better than FSU last season. Two-loss LSU was clearly better than Ohio State in 2008.
