Flying into chicago that thursday night and staying downtown

cubs game friday afternoon then off to green bay friday/sat night

we don't fly out until Monday night in Chicago

I've never been to the area, what should we do in the Milwaukee or Chicago area Sunday and Monday? Not into museums or site seeing unless it has to do with sports.

Wrigleyville is awesome. Watch the game in a bar down there.

Eat at Hot Doug's (it closed), Lou Malnati's, and eat at a polish restaurant. Best part of Chicago is the food.

There are a lot of places with good views, but if you want to go to the top of the Hancock Bldg. to have a drink and see the view, it is surreal. Floor to ceiling windows, and if your lady is with you, the bathroom is completely glass so she can see the whole city.

Just get there before the crowds, and you'll be golden. I think we wandered in around 4-5pm and beat the crowd. Plus, it'll be Sunday.

If you want a fantastic restaurant that doesn't do reservations, go to The Purple Pig downtown on the Magnificent Mile. One of the best restaurants in Chicago, and it isn't upscale or anything.

Miller tour is decent, but very stuffy and corporate, as you might expect. It's crazy seeing all those pallets and knowing they turn over in 24 hours.

I would only recommend the Miller tour if you follow it up with the Lakefront Brewery tour. Great craft experience there and an excellent contrast to the Miller tour.

Chicago is awesome. Expand your horizons. Get on the blue line at the airport and get off at the Damon exit. It's a really cool midcity neighborhood to walk around in filled with bars, shopping, parks, ect.

Then, find a bike share station and buy a pass for the day. That way, you can grab a bike and deposit it, park it, or switch it out for another bike at any station around the city, and then just ride around. Go ride along the lake shore and downtown.

Go to the observation deck of the Willis Tower.
Eat at a great steak house.
Grab some deep dish pizza.
Go to Millennium Park and check out Soldier Field.

Take the architectural boat tour.

Catch a game at Wrigley Field then get drunk at the bars in Wrigleyville.

Take the L Train to the Southside and see the White Sox play.
