What's a good place to go hiking with a lady friend? Want to see waterfalls and picnic and hike and play in the water.

I can go a little farther than Tunica, maybe Clark Creek?

Kind of want to not be around too many other people if possible.

Any suggestions? What all would I need to bring.

Won't be staying overnight.

Clark Creek?

This. You can find the directions online as well as the hiking map. It's an amazing little hike that will make you think you are 500 miles away.

Bring water and snacks and that's all you need.

Better get there before 8:00am. It's going to be crazy crowded this weekend.

As far as I know, clark creek trail is the only one with waterfalls, but there will definitely be people there on the weekend. It's still a great time, though.

Eh, if people are around we'll deal with it.

Plenty of woods to sneak off into I suppose

Just don't be like the New Orleans hippies who were banging in the creek bed the last time I hiked there. It was super awkward walking past a naked man, hippie girl with bush, and barking dog, but there was only one way to get through

They are both similar. Clark Creek is my favorite. If you take the primative trail after the 3 big waterfalls youll be alone for the most part. otherwise there is always people... especially this weekend which the good weather.

Keep in mind the primative trail is not an easy stroll. It'll get your heart rate going!

I did a few things with my girlfriend in high school on a few trips out there, but nothing like getting naked and screwing near the trail.

Are there any waterfalls at Tunica? Even small ones.

Really just want to be in nature and hills and be able to play in the pools and enjoy it.

Perfect weather to do that this weekend.
They have scouts that train up there for Philmont trips.
Dress appropriately, a walking stick helps especially if you are not in shape.
It's the climb back that sucks.

Also, bring lots of water and snacks.

Watch out for snakes!
My son almost got bit by the clark's creek area when they went on their summer camp excursion.
They were climbing up and jumping into water below.

Definitely not in fighting trim anymore but I'm used to climbing and walking a lot so I should be fine. Just may need more breaks and water.

Can you swim in the pools?

You can get in the water, it's kind of muddy though I don't know if I would go under..
Might be cool this weekend too for the water.
Waterfalls ought to be good as well with all the recent rain.

Not deep enough or wide enough but depending on the levels of flow, you can def get waist deep into them
