Vancouver and Whistler in summer

Planning a few days of leisure in the Vancouver / Whistler area this summer. I have seen zip lining and float / raft trips. What other things are must see / must do great ways to keep a young family entertained? Has anyone done the breakfast with bears at Grouse Mountain?

Don't know about the bears, but definitely go up the gondola to grouse.
Capilano suspension bridge is close to there too which is worthwhile, although there is a free local version in Lynn Canyon in Lynn Valley (another part of North Vancouver).
Stanley park would be a nice afternoon - your kids might like the aquarium.
