Spoiler alert…he isn’t a fan of Louisiana

I’m not fan of Louisiana but I have a hard time believing it’s the 47th best state to visit. His top 10 is pretty agreeable but Iowa ahead of Louisiana? Come on

We got ranked 48th because he doesn’t like fishing and horses.

Who doesn’t like fricking fishing and horses? And who thinks that’s all we offer (especially outdoors here)?

seems heavily weighted on natural beauty.

which hey if you’re a hiker is pretty important.

Eh, if that was the case Kentucky doesn’t get ranked 48th. Between the park systems in the Louisville and Lexington area (designed by Frederick Law Olmsted), Red River Gorge, Cumberland Gap, Mammoth Cave, etc. he absolutely missed on what is here.

Feels like If you are going to rank states part of the criteria would be “do you feel the need to go back more than once”

I can think of a handful of states off the top of my head that I don’t need to go back to more than once. Starting with Arkansas and Mississippi.

And him ranking Mississippi ahead of Louisiana is just disrespectful lol

I don't know about #1, but it's a pretty awesome place to visit. If you can take off your political glasses for one minute, then you'll be able to see the beauty that is California.

His top 10 is pretty solid.

The dude said he started crying when he visited Selma, AL. Also his rankings sucked.

Louisiana is my least favorite state to travel through/to in the south. There's nothing there. Its desolate. Its boring. Its prized city is dangerous and dirty.

Kentucky at #48 is the bigger issue. That state is beautiful.

The highlight of his visit to Alabama was his “highly emotional” visit to Selma. Selma! Tells you everything you need to know.

Just New Orleans alone makes Louisiana at least top... 30ish? Certainly top 40. And if you like the outdoors at all it goes up from there.

Sure, there's a lot of beauty in California.

It hides a lot of arrogance, greed, misery and incredible stupidity.

But you know what? I don't think I've been to many states that don't have a lot of natural beauty. Those that actually get noticed by a travel blogger likely have more in their metric than just beauty alone.

Dude is a biased New Yorker who clearly hates the south and rural America. Whatever, his loss. He clearly didn’t immerse himself in traditions, culture, music, food and drink during his visits.

Going by scenery alone, his list is jacked.
