On the way to Nashville for a long weekend trip. What are some things I need to do?

Don't get tricked into going to the Grand Ole Opry house. It is not opera.

Go to "The Local" near VANDERBILT and grab a burger and listen to up and coming musicians before they sell out and become famous.

Tell Geoff I said hello.

Don't go to Opry Mills. Ever.

Catch a show at The Ryman, Country Music HoF, eat one of the dozens and dozens of world class restaurants, hit up Roberts for a real Honky Tonk for a bit, people watch Broadway on a balcony bar (lots to choose from), etc.

ETA:

Ed Sheeran at the Ryman tomorrow night. That'll be ludicrously expensive. But Ryan Adams is Saturday night and will be a bit more affordable if you can get a ticket.

It is the greatest indoor music venue on the planet.

Downtown. You can see it all in a couple days. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun city but I do think it's overrated
