Me and the wife will visit the vineyards for at least two of the 4 days. Any recommendations on what we can do the other two days. I just don’t want to be drunk all four days.

There’s an amazing spa at Auberge du Soleil (I’m certain there are others at all different price points that some digging would turn up but that’s the one I’m familiar with.)

If you want to venture out a bit, you could check out Calistoga (still in Napa County) or the plaza in the town of Sonoma.

ETA: Napa Valley Wine Train is very popular. I’ve never been a huge fan, but it was fine the first time, and lots of people really love it. There are hot air balloon excursions over the vineyards that always sounded fun — friends have enjoyed them but I’m afraid of heights.

Frog's Leap is a great vineyard/winery. Put it on the list for sure.

Stag's Leap (as opposed to Stags’ Leap) was great, too. (Edit: we did not go to Stags’ Leap-just clarifying since they can be confused.)

On our off day we went fly fishing on Putah Creek with Jordan Romney. I think we booked through Off the Hook in Napa. It was a blast and my wife caught her first trout (and ended up outfishing me). A buddy from Kentucky has family in the area and told me about a beer place, so we stopped in there on the way back and ate and listened to music.

Also-you won't be drunk just doing wine tastings as long as you space them out and eat appropriately. We rented a car the first time we went and drove all over Napa Valley for 2 days and Sonoma Valley for 1 day exploring.

Stags’ has one of the best views in Napa outside of sterling. Absolute gorgeous property.

I’m not saying it doesn’t. I’m just saying we went to Stag’s Leap, not Stags’ Leap. I hope to hit the latter next time.

What time of year? That is a big factor.

Next week. The 18th thru the 23rd. I know this is the time of year to go...harvest time. We've been before but only for 2 days and really enjoyed it. The rest of the time we spent in SF. We decided to go back for our anniversary.

I agree with the hot air balloon ride. You do have to get up pretty early to catch to bus to the takeoff point, but once we got up there and got the jitters out, it was awesome. You will get some awesome pictures.

If you are staying in Napa, there isn't much that we found to do outside of drinking wine. You can spend an afternoon walking around downtown and checking everything out, but that can be accomplished in one afternoon/evening

Y'all will have a great time.

The first time we went, I was a little apprehensive since I don't know much about wine and knew even less about Sonoma and Napa. We ended up loving it. We went a year ago for our fall back honeymoon spot since Vieques got wiped out, but ended up having to evacuate due to fires.

We can't wait to go back.

I went there this past summer and did a wine blending course at Judd's hill with my wife. Very fun time. You make your own blend, bottle it, and take four bottles home with you.

I'm a huge fan of Hall Winery. It's a more modern place and a lot different vibe than most, but the wine itself is the best I've had there.

Chateau Montelena is really pretty with good wine and interesting history. Sterling has probably the best view and a cool experience, but the wine is average to below average to most places I visited.

Pride and Schramsberg were my favorite two.

There’s a good farm to table place, farmstead that was really good. The market in downtown Napa is cool too.

Book your dinner reservations early. Mustard Grill and French Laundry are 2 great ones.

Hall Winery! Best view on Rutherford Hill. Have lunch at L'Auberge Du Soleil afterwards and enjoy the view. Can visit the spa there too. Great place!
