My wife and I used a service a few years ago and the gentleman who ran it happened to pass away since our last visit.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Is Uber a terrible idea for getting around?

LINK

this is who we used since we were kind of on a tight budget but honestly it wasn't bad. They picked us up by the pier, drove us around to 4 vineyards, got to explore down town sonoma for lunch, and dropped us off at the ferry (even though we just ubered back).

I wouldn't take the risk of an uber being in the area of the wineries though, I'm sure they'll all be in the city and wont make the longer drive to snag yall.

ETA: we did a group tour

Small group tour may be the way to go.

What Valley(s) are you looking at visiting? Alexander Valley and Russian River Valley are gonna be tougher for Uber...the wineries are a little more remote. If you're targeting Dry Creek I think you'd be fine with Uber. What town are yall staying in?

I think the hotel is in Wilfred, south of Santa Rosa. Near Sonoma State University. Any recommendations?

My wife and I did Alexander Valley/Dry Creek Valley and Healdsburg last trip but she's going with one of her GF's this time.

Rohnert Park (near SSU) looks to be the town she'd be staying in. With that distance I think a wine tour bus would be best. And she'd be closest to the Russian River Valley wineries. Delicious Pinots out there.
