Sedona with a three year old

Headed to Phoenix for the week. I've always wanted to see Sedona so I think we might drive there on Thursday for the day. I've read about Montezuma's Castle but not sure what else to do. The Out of Africa safari looks fun but the best expedition package is off limits to three year olds.
Any suggestions?

If you have a little time, I would fully recommend Sedona...the drive from Phoenix to Sedona is stunning and you will see where lots of the old western movies were filmed.
I only did a day trip to Sedona and can't say that I was there long enough to really see anything for kids.
I did manage to meet some hippies that brought me off the beaten path to see "the flatulence of the earth".
I think Nurse and 480 are both very familiar with that area, so hopefully they will pop in and give you some info.

Sedona is beautifully. I. Would try to drive up to flagstaff, 40min, also and go up to snowbowl.
