We went for a wedding in 2012, it was expensive as hell for what you get. The flights in and out the island, like most islands, are limited. If something happens and you miss a connection, it wI'll probably add a day on to your arrival, If you really want AI, look at trip advisor people's choice awards for all inclusives.

I went on a cruise and one of the ports was Antigua. We did a catamaran excursion around the island. We actually stopped at the Sandals. For soome reason, the water seemed very murky on their particular beach.

My brother went their for his honeymoon. He really didn't say anything good or bad about it.

I wouldn't go there with as many options exist. If you want to do Sandals, I'd recommend St. Lucia.

I went there on my honeymoon in 2008 and honestly would not recommend it. There was nothing wrong with the place, but there's nothing spectacular about it either. We stayed in a suite in the Mediterranean tower which had just opened and it was nice, but honestly, there are so many better destinations out there. Plus, like someone else said, the water isn't all that great at the resort.

We were in our mid-20's and think we spent roughly $5,500 for a week plus the cost of flights, and for that amount of money, you can pretty much go anywhere. If I had to do it over again, we would've gone to the BVI's probably but Turks, St. Barts, and the outter islands of the Bahamas are right up there too.
