San Juan, PR: Going for the Fourth

I searched and could not find a thread on San Juan/Puerto Rico in general. If there is one, please point me to it.
My GF and I are going for 6 nights during July 4th.
I already have an Airbnb half a block from the Ocean Park Beach.
Any recommendations?
Plan on doing some day trips to the rain forest, scuba diving, anything else?
Thanks

I'd highly suggest carving out an overnight stay on Culebra island. I'm sure there are some Airbnb options on the island. Make a reservation for a Jeep rental through Carlos Jeep Rental while you're on the island. Flamenco beach is absolutely incredible and exploring Culebra via Jeep is a damn good time.
San Jaun is well worth visiting/exploring but once you make it to Culebra you'll strongly consider never leaving.

Go to the Castillo de San Cristobal, it has some beautiful views of the ocean. Old San Juan in general is beautiful.
Also I haven't been to the Bioluminescent Baybut have heard it's wonderful. I don't think you can swim in them anymore but would still be cool to check out.

2nd the Culebra suggestion. Flamenco Beach is a top 5 beach in the world and worth at least two days. We didn't rent a car, just took taxi to/from hotel to beach.
The Bioluminescent Bay is a pretty cool trip. We did it same day as Rain Forest because it's fairly close.

San Juan is cool, especially OSJ but it can get old fast. Travel to the east and go to Culebra, or travel the pork highway.

Sounds good. Thanks for the suggestions. I definitely plan on traveling to some other parts of the island.
