I hate earbuds and would like some sort of headphones but don't want to look like a complete douche canoe....is this possible?

The Urbanears Humlan seems to be about the best I can find for the money at about $50. I need them wired so I can plug into in flight entertainment systems and sound quality isn't all that important. I'm mostly going for comfort and as non douchetastic as possible.

Any other values out there I don't know of?

Audio-technica has some decent noise-cancelling headphones and earbuds starting at about $70.

Bose are good but expensive.

I have real bad tinnitus and the Bose noise cancelling helps with the ringing.

Get Bose Boise cancelling. The price is going to be much steeper than what your probably looking at currently, but you will never travel without them once you try them.

For the money ($6.12) you can't possibly beat:

Panasonic

They are actually pretty good and very light weight. A very good alternative to earbuds.

$350 for headphones?

Yeah, not happening. I'm sure they are great and all but I am not looking for the best I am looking for a good value.

For example. when I wanted a small bluetooth radio for the pool and beach I found the JBL Flip for about $45 new on Amazon. Not the best, but great value for a highly rated product.

I do appreciate the feedback though, just don't want to spend that much money...well, because I'm cheap.

I have the QC35. I have higher audio quality headphones, but they are comfortable, sound reasonably good and have great ANC.

Scored these for $12 each at TJ Maxx yesterday. Exactly what I was looking for. If I get half dozen uses out of them, it's money well spent.
